This years, we found a great town to do our trick-or-treating in, Woodbury, where they shut the streets down to traffic, the town really does things all out, lots of decorating, almost every house was "open" so there was none of the husual having to walk blocks just to get to a house that was participating. It reminded me of movies where they show the cute little town with the happy children running all over the place trick-or-treating. Seriously. It was like stepping back in time and seemed a little surreal, but it was a great time for us all.
Haiden wanted to be Mario for some unknown reason since we don't have Mario anything, but whatever. He had fun and it was fun for him to see other little boys dressed up the same when we were out. Hannah wanted to be Astrid from "How to Train a Dragon" which was quite fitting for her personality, and she had a great time doing her tough Viking poses.
